| 3-Atlanta Spiritists Did It Once Again |

The last weekend of August was nothing but magical for Spiritists who attended the 2nd Spiritist Encounter of Atlanta. Talks in English and Portuguese were presented in two separate conference rooms simultaneously. Speakers from Florida, Massachusetts, New York and Brazil delivered lecturers revolving the event's main theme "Reincarnation."
Jacob Melo was the keynote speaker and musicians from the Spiritists Groups in Atlanta performed at the beginning of each day adding a nice artistic touch to the event. Several USSC board members were present among other speakers and seized the opportunity to talk about the importance of the Spiritist unification movement. |

| 8-Youth Education Committee Becomes a Reality |
Marking the beginning of the committee formation project, the USSC's Youth Education Committee had its first video conference call this past Sunday. While the committee's coordinator Bernadete Leal ( bleal69@hotmail.com) conducted the meeting Spiritists from many parts of the U.S. followed the power point presentation showing the 14 goals and projects to be worked on. A Facebook page was created under YSE - Youth Spiritist Education. This committee will meet again on September 27th at 8:30 pm (Eastern Time). Please contact Bernadete if you wish to participate. |
