1- Florida Spiritist Seminars

The Spiritist Federation of Florida is organizing and sponsoring a new Seminar,everyone is invited to participate! This program takes place every year in three different locations in Florida. This year's seminar, "Among Brothers of Other Lands" has many interesting topics and is also meant to inspire those wishing to disseminate Spiritism in English.

3- Spiritism for Everyone

Spiritism for Everyone is a project which will encompass a series of online collaboration meetings, bringing an opportunity for everyone to study and interact in real time over this video, audio and power point enabled system . Live web meetings are already taking place every Wednesday from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST (Study of The Spirits' Book) and Saturdays 10:00 am to 11:00 am EST (Study of the Gospel According to Spiritism).

4- Movie Nosso Lar in Festivals

Last June the movie "Nosso Lar" was presented at the Seattle Film Festival, this month it is being presented at the Brazilian Film Festival in Miami. If you are from South Florida, don't miss this opportunity: August 24th, at 9:30 pm. Check details at the Festival Web Site: Brazilian Film Festival

5- Texas Spiritist Symposium

On October 22nd, 2011 the spiritist movement of Texas will be organizing the first Symposium at the Lone Star State. More information at the Symposium web page: 1st Texas Spiritist Symposium.

6- Chicago Spiritist Seminar

On November 19th and 20th, the Spiritist Society of Chicago will be organizing and hosting the 1st Spiritist Seminar of Chicago,"Spiritual Awareness For A Better Life", with speakers from Brazil (Raul Teixeira and Alirio Cerqueira) and USA. 10 - ISC Meeting in Miami This Week

The International Spiritist Council board of directors is holding it's annual meeting this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday (August 19, 20 and 21) in Miami. One of the most important items in this meeting's agenda will be the selection of the host country of the 7th Spiritist World Congress. As hosts of the event, presidents of the Spiritist Federation of Florida and the USSC have been invited to participate in the meeting as observers.

11 - Raul Teixeira and Alirio Cerqueira Coming to U.S.

Dr. Raul Teixeira will be visiting the northeast from Nov 15-27. Dr. Alirio Cerqueira will also be visiting from Nov 13-21. Both spiritist speakers will be participating in the 1st Chicago Spiritist Seminar.
